Real estate agents are professionals who try to help in connecting the buyer with the right real estate sellers. In fact, this will function in favor of real estate agent in two ways. Firstly, if it is possible for the real estate agent to sell the house they get their commission and secondly, if they make the buyer happy too they earn themselves a good reputation (and therefore more business).

Nevertheless, it is really worth noting that real estate agents work on behalf of the seller. Therefore, be very careful if you find that they are trying too hard to sell a property.
